BIOGRAPHY

Izabela Wojcik, a Polish-American artist, is a renaissance woman who learned to express herself, as well as the needs of others, through works of art cultivated by a formal, as well as a self-taught artistic background. She is a fine arts visual artist and a custom fixture and ornamental metalwork designer. Izabela specializes and is accomplished in sculpture, painting, glass art, as well as design via Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and various other design mediums.

In 2001 Izabela received a Degree in Liberal Arts, with emphasis on Visual Arts, and shortly after began an exciting journey working for a local designer in Dallas, Texas. There, she was retained to sculpt unique works of art, architectural accessories, and undertake historical restoration projects for high-end residences and commercial buildings.

In 2005 Izabela found her home at Potter Art Metal Studios; a highly acclaimed family-owned-and-operated metal fabrication studio in Dallas, Texas, producing custom designs for over 90 years. There, she designs unique ornamental metalwork, as well as gas and electric light fixtures which grace the finest high-end reidential and commercial buildings across the country. "I have had the privilege of designing metalwork for Ray Hunt's downtown Oil Building, Trammell Crow's personal collection and are currently in the early stages of working on the prestigious Dallas Country Club. Can't beat the excitement! I love working at Potter Art Metal! ...it's a place of high creativity and constant change. I get to rub elbows with the best designers, builders, architects, and fabulous home owners; all creating beautiful spaces in their own styles."

Working for Potter Art Metal Studios gives Izabela the ability to pick and choose the art projects she wants to undertake in her personal time. She creates sculptures, paintings, drawings, as well as the occasional glass-art. "Doing my own artwork is a completely different experience, unless I'm specifically commissioned for a project, I simply have no idea where a piece will take me... and it's not until after the artwork is completed and I have had time to take it in that I can let the feeligns come to me and realize what has been put on canvas or molded in clay."

PERSPECTIVE

“Working with Izabela really isn't like having to work. She immediately understands what the designers are conceptualizing in their heads and hybrids it with her own creative genius, using her extraordinary sketching abilities to bring her imagination to the physical form for you and your client to see. She is very diversified in her areas and styles of expertise, never saying "I can't" and always brings a "let's make this happen and let's make it better than it's done before" attitude that will take your project from an idea to reality that is dictated by her craftmanship and ingenuity.” [Alana Villanueva -Senior Interior Designer at Dallas Design Group]
